mitsubishipartsstore.com pricing errors
Dunno if anyone else saw this, but they had the rear strut tower bar up for $20 last night. I ordered one for $33.50 shipped but they denied me today.
It has since been corrected to the ridiculous $307 that it "should" be. Anyone else spot this last night? I got a phone call saying they "can't sell it to me at that price" yet they have no conditions or clauses stating pricing errors can occur?

Anyone else smell price misrepresentation? They blamed it on a data backup restore gone wrong (it selectively subbed in $20 for some parts... yeah that makes sense).

Come on. did you REALLY expect to be able to get it for $30? You knew the price was posted incorrectly. You knew that it costs upwards of $300 elsewhere.
It would only be considered price misrepresentation if they posted $30 on the site, but charged you $300 on your credit card.

Technically, they must sell it at the advertised price. Its like walking into a store and they have clothes or something marked for sale when they shouldn't have been. They are required to sell it...
If they dont - just call the better business bureau. They have always helped to solve my problems.

they do have to sell you it, it happened to an airline, something happened and it was suppose to give a certain percent off, but it ended up selling tickets for like 90 dollars or so. the airlines had to honor them this happend last year.
As long as you can prove it they have to do it

I have a purchase confirmation email. They _do_ have a statement on their SHIPPING page stating "prices are subject to change without notice" but last I checked, 1) that doesn't apply to processed orders, and 2) it's not very conspicuously located on their site.

I don't know if they billed it or not, it's a moot point now anyhow because this has become a principle matter. Not sure if I should post our email convo here or not...
