Fair price? 2006 IX RS w/24k miles, stock
Gents, I was on the EVO X bandwagon for a little while, with that 0% financing and $30k sale price from Socal Mitsu, but then I came across a deal for an EVO IX RS with 24,000 miles, all stock except it has an OEM wing, and I think aftermarket exhaust, at a local dealer.
The dealer is advertising $22,777, but it has 3 different brands of tires on it, so it will need a full set of tires. They offered to sell it to me for $22,000, but I offered $21,000.
It has no scratches or dents, just a few black smudges (it's WW) on the door sills and at least one small rash on one rim, everything else inside and out looks extremely clean.
What do you guys think the car is worth? Should I hold out and look around for something closer to $20k, or is $22k a good buy?
Also, how are the Dunlop Z1's, you guys recommend those? $135 per at Tirerack, I figure $200 each when you add in road force balancing and mounting etc.
Yes I searched and have been reading the forums for days/weeks/months, but I'd just like some comments on the deal I'm looking at right now.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

Thanks a ton for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it.
I'm gonna go throw a couple more offers at them today, maybe give them a little more if they can get the tires at a discount and get them mounted. I haven't test driven it yet either, so I'll take it for a spin today.

The price OTD sounds good but if you're looking at an RS then you can maybe assume the car was bought as a track car (even if it is stock or near stock).
Just have a closer look at stuff that can get worn for a track car (like the suspension components).

sounds like a good deal to me but WTF on the different type of tires? That might keep me away but I am picky. If they are different sizes it could cause all kinds of problems, not to mention why it might have different tires.
