Fyi, you'll need new brackets, the X brackets are much different.

The brackets are completely different and IMO the X seats are horrendous. I'd stick with a set of IX seats or go aftermarket.

Okay before this thread gets out of hand from burning etc (hate for x's). I currently have both seats and Bride Gias. I want to know because I am still debating on either selling the 8 or 10 seats. Right now I have the Bride Gias seats on the 8 and want to move it to the 10. So I wont have a seats for the 8 if i do that. I can put the stock seats back but was also debating if i cut put the x seats on the 8.

Lol sorry if its confusing about the swapping of seats etc.

here are pics of my cars if you guys are wondering.

I actually have the Gias in the EVO right now as well. They fit a bit tight but they are pretty solid seats.

I don't think it's worth the effort retrofitting the X seats into the 8's and I think you'd make a lot more selling the X seats than the 8's.
