so i put on the greddy cw shift knob not to long ago, i tightened it well onto the thread and then put the black sticker on it to make sure placement was perfect and then a couple days later i looked and it had moved, it was loose so i tightened it and now the sticker is off center,anyone else experience this before? lol

 

Use a folded piece of aluminum foil in the knob to decrease the thread size then put it back on. The foil will fill in gaps and make it tighter and you can turn it wherever you want.

A toothpick also works but I prefer foil.

I've had the same thing happen several times. I end up taking it back off and restart putting it on. Do it a few times and you'll get it perfect.

 

had the same problem with mine, eventually it just was off center and i said forget it. then some how over time it loosened up gradually and i was able to tighten it little by little, and now its perfect. good luck

 

I used plumber's tape before screwing the Greddy CW on. now its tight as hell and the sticker is straight.

yea i tried teflon tape today but it was screwing on too tight to make it on center. it actually started to twist the shift boot covering so i just took the tape off and its back to normal uncentered lol

How does the CW knob feel? I am tempted to get one but not sure if it's going to make a difference.

 

The diff is that the greddy doesn't have stiching that eats your hand, and its heavy as a sum*****, works great.
