turbo spool

Well I was out in my evo8 last night and I was in 4th gear going about 40mph. I push on the gas a little bit and my turbo spooled real fast to 17 pounds but my car did not. I stayed at the same speed. This did not happen at all latter that night. Just wondering what the heck it was?

Did your RPM's shoot up? If so, your clutch is probably on it's way out.

So your car spooled, but your car did not accelerate??? If so, your clutch was likely slipping or you were on a very very steep hill ....

hmmm car not spool this up maybe this way the clutch no good because you make engine rpm jump much high but to my dismay the evo not having good clutch, over.

I had to read this twice to realize he was joking. I'm getting slow in my old age.
