anyone made their own under panel?

Like the title says anyone made their own? I just bought an EPM O2 dump so I need a new one since I don't want to chop up the stock one. I was at home depot the other day and they had sheets of acrylic for $50 and lexan for about $90. They didn't have any aluminum sheets big enough. I'm thinking about the Buschur but if I can save some money and just pick it up at home depot I might try it. So what do you guys think acrylic or lexan? and any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,
anthony

For whatever its worth, I made mine with fiberglass now and lexan.

Originally my mock up(which were stupid easy to see) where made with a clear sheet of lexan I think, I don't remember.

Its easy just make sure it fits well so it doesnt flex all over the place and parachute you

Lemme know if you want some tips

Any tips you have would be great. It seems pretty straight forward but anything to make it easier. What about the acrylic the sheet of that are lighter and thinner that the lexan?

Anyone making them for sale? I'd be interested in buying one.

I would probably use Lexan over Plexi, Lexan has a bit more flex to it and won't crack as easily. Plexi can be shattered pretty easily if something hits it, especially when it's cold.

I thought about the beatrush also but I'd hate to buy it and then have to cut a hole for the O2 dump. I looked up the specs between lexan and the acrylic(plexi) and they seem fairly close but, I was thinking lexan was the way to go for the strength but was curious if any one had tried the acrylic. Beeniboy if you want to order one Buschur, beatrush and carbing make some that start about $150-$350 I think.

I was going to make my own with some aluminum sheetmetal because of the epm o2 dump, but I haven't had any time to follow through with it yet...
