Need advice on gauge install

Ok let me start off by saying i just purchased some prosport gauges. boost, egt, oil pressure. i have the tripple a pillar gauge pod and just by looking at it the hook up for the oil pressure gauge will not reach from the gauge pod to the location by oil filter. Has anyone else installed these gauge in same location? Do i just have to cut wires and add extensions to it? Any help would be appreciated.

I cant believe it would be too short. I bought a prosport gauge for a previous vehicle and all the lines were plenty long enough. But yeah, you'll be fine just extending the wires.

You pretty much answer your own question. Just add the desire amount of wires you need from your location of the gauges to the sensor. I think there's a write up in here on how to install so look it up.

When I ordered my Electric Boost gauge from Prosport there was defiantly not enough wire. I just went out and bought some 20g wire from the store and connected them for more length.

Just to let you know, any wire extensions or connections that you make should be soldered and shrink wrapped. The two gauges I've installed had enough wire but I also mounted them on the steering column and simply tapped power from my Alpine headunit.
