what options should i order my evo with?

what options should i order my evo with? there is so many on the website

the sunroof is a given

i plan on getting a bodykit so the air dam is probably a waste

how about the other options such as:

Instrument Cluster Surround
Hyperground Cables

and the strut bars...

should i order my evo8 with any of thoses options if i plan to modify it ?

thanks

The factory options are only low or high wing, sunroof, and maybe the multidisk in dash CD changer as opposed to the single disk CD which is standard.

The others you mention are dealer installed options. I installed the strut bars. The front bar is very light and looks better than the factory bar. Other than that I don't think it makes any difference. Very easy to install yourself though. Just about 8 bolts and that is it. Adding the rear bar is more of a process since there isn't one there to begin with. You must cut the trunk insulator. I used a knife. It was kind of a pain. Didn't notice any difference.

That is all for now...

There are so many better-quality, higher-end parts out there that getting any dealer-installed options is a waste of time. Examples: Cusco makes many different types and constructions of front and rear strut bars, too many manufacturers to count make body parts, ground kits can be had for less than $50, etc. etc. etc.

The only reason to suggest getting any dealer-installed parts is if you plan to do zero mods and want to maintain your warranty with no headaches.

I didn't get any option aside of factory options such as sunroof and wing.

IOM, Mitsu options include parts and installation are expensive. If you are a diy person, save your money and get mods using after market products. You can also save money by buying mitsu options seperate from online store and install yourself.

Leather, heated seats, nav system and pool in trunk and while you are at please detune it because this car is too fast for me! Man eff those dealer add ons. Just get the car and save your money for aftermarket parts!

hey guys This is my first post!! YAY! I did some research and the carbon fiber wing is the best option (if it was the only one for you to get) the small wing looks like a regular lancer. The sunroof is perfect for those nice days but adds 35lbs and takes a little away from the overall rigidity of the car.
