Exclamation HELP! Steering wheel clicking

There is a click and a slight movement when i pull the steering wheel forward, and it also clicks and moves slightly forward when pushing it back in, has anyone else had this problem, and is there an easy fix, or should i take it into the dealer?

I dunno that's a weird noise, never had that before, try to see if the tilt/telescopic lever and locking mech is engaging properly. A little investigationg of your own might save you the troube of going to the dealer

I don't think the dealer would bother you about a turbo timer, at least they didn't bother me. Tell them it's healthy for the turbo

the dealer CANNOT deny or void your warranty because you have mods on your car. dont listen to people on here that feed into that BS

UNLESS THE WARRANTIED PART'S PROBLEM IS CAUSED BY THE AFTERMARKET PART, YOUR FINE...
a turbo timer in no way would cause this problem

i myself would pull out the airbag and check to see if the nut on the steering wheel is tight. if it is, then id take it to the dealer cause its something in the steering shaft assembly(idk, what its called) that could be bad. but if you dont feel comfortable checking that, just go straight to the dealer

sounds like the steering wheel nut is loose.
Pop the airbag out and see
