How to tighten gas pedal?

My gas pedal has some free play in it and feels a little loose. I drove my friends evo today, it has no freeplay and feels a ton firmer. Just wondering how to adjust/ tighten thanks

adjust the throttle cable on the intake manifold but dont tighten too much cause then it will raise your idle

Just adjust it until there is little to no slack on the cable. You'll notice if it's too tight when your idling higher.

Open your hood. Look down, it's right in your face wrapped around the valve cover ending at the top of the intake manifold slightly toward the throttle body.

A assume you found the slotted bracket. You need to leave a little bit of free play because the cable changes length with temperature. Next winter you may have a high idle if you don't.

Lightbulb

If the cable has enough slack in it that the throttle plate isn't opening completely before the WHEEEE pedal hits the stop, adjusting might provide more horsepower.
