Yeah, those little guys can tear up all kinds of things ...

This was the main ECU harness for our Mazda MX-6 LeMons/Chump car ...

We had to re-wire everything in the trunk when we picked the car up ... this is part of the fuel pump harness ...

Fixored.

They are attracted to the low hum in the lines.

Also check the A/C fan area (in cab). They love to make nests there.

I saw one other Evo that had this problem also when I worked at a shop, there was a bunch of the padding thats under the carpets all over the cabin area of the car. I have no clue how they actually get into the cars, but I know they are able to flatten themselves quite a bit, so who knows.

I don't even know how you'd get that smell out of there, spray everything with some lysol or something. Possible air cleaner stuff from an autoparts store, I wonder if that would even be strong enough though...

That SUCKS!!!

Mice have a very flexibale skeletal strutcure. You'd be REALLY suprised what they can squeeze through. Believe it or not, this is a commen problem. Having chewed up wires and mysterious electrical issues are the side effects. And the fact that it's just plain gross, haha.

My car smells so good now, because I sprayed so much Lysol in it. Some of my friends with no knowledge of mice in the car even says that my EVO smells so good after I cleaned up the mess .

However, I don't know if there is any more mice in there or not. I been checking every time I go into the car. Hope there won't be anymore!
