where and how to check if tranmission fluid is low

am new to evo and i have searched . How do you check and add transmission fluid to a 5 speed in an evo 9. where in the engine bay is the "dip Stick" for transmission located. I have other car like the sti where it was easy to check for low fluid . please help a noob .

Take off the FILL plug and reach in with your pinky. It should be DAMN close the level with the fill hole.

Might as well just change it while you're at it.

I usually like my transfer case to give a lil drip when i take the fill plug off

Theres a fill plug on the trans.Take it off and stick your pinky in there.If you dont feel anything your low,fill it until it runs out a bit,then your good to go.
