feels like stuck gas pedal while shifting?

so heres my issue, when i go into WOT and shift normal into the next gear the rpms just stay as if i rev-matched. While shifting at WOT the rpms wont drop. Hard to explain but seems like the gas cable might be gettin stuck but its only when i go into WOT. Driving around is fine, dont know what it can be anybody happen to have the same thing going on?

I agree that it sounds like throttle hang however that isnt only an issue with the IX's. I have a 2005 VIII and sometimes the throttle will hang on mine. Search "throttle hang" and you will find a bunch of threads regarding this. Some people have tried to alleviate this "issue" or whatever you want to call it through Ecuflash, however I am not actually sure whether anyone has succeeded.
