Hey guys,
What size are the mounting bolts for the trunk on Evo 8-9? Four bolts that attach to the side latches/bars? What length and pitch?
I Did some unsuccessful searching.

I'm pretty sure that they are 8mmx1.25, I'm not sure about the length though, I'd have to take one out and measure it.

 

If you're referring to the bolts that hold the rear deck gas struts on, they're 8x1.25x20mm flanged bolts.

 

There are no gas struts on an Evo anywhere in the trunk. They also are a lot longer than 20mm as they have to go through the trunk support. 20mm is only 3/4 of an inch. Thats not even long enough to hold anything.

What length bolt did you end up using? I just realized that my trunk it missing one of those same bolts.
