Best place to mount prosport coolant temp adapter?

I want to install a prosport digital coolant temp gauge. They sell an adapter that mounts inline of the radiator hose to measure coolant temps. Just wondering if there is a better way to accurately read your temps? Where should it be mounted, lower or upper radiator hose? Obviously one would read temps before it's cooled by the radiator, and one after. But which one is more critical to know???

the temp to measure is that of the coolant in the head/block. any other isn't going to represent true engine temp.

Eh, the other spots may only be off by a few degrees. I have mine in the Upper radiator spot. Other spots could be on the coolant neck. This is the metal piece where the upper radiator hose attaches too. If you look it has a flat part on the back of it. Drill and tap that spot.
