I Get My Car Back Tomorrow...

Well as some of you know my car has been sitting up on a lift for around 3 weeks now, the first week they got the clutch out and I didn't get a new one to them until that friday afternoon. The next week the technician went out of town for a week to go to school.

Now they finally started working on my car monday and got my new Exedy HyperSingle put in and they gotta change the oil and stuff tomorrow, I can't wait to have her back lol. Well the original price of labor was supposed to be around $600 now they tell me it's going to cost me around $1,000 for everything. Thank's Elkin's, I guess I should take some KY with me tomorrow so i'll be ready to take it up the *** tomorrow.

It could be worse man, a grand isn't small change, but it could easily have been more.

Hope you're happy with the end result...ahh hell, you will be, its an Evo, regardless.

Yeah, true it could be worse they told me $1400 this morning but who knows the price keeps on changing, I wish they had stuck with $600 then i'd actually have some money to start modding it but oh well.

You did start modding it. You had them put a different clutch on it.

j/k

That's a lot of money.

Well I picked my car up wednesday and all together it cost me $1,021 for labor and for an oil change. So all together it was around 15 hours worth of labor I think? I wish I could find people around here that actually knew how to work on my car.

A little update on my car... I picked it up last wednesday and thursday my service engine soon light came on while I was on the way to work that night, so I took my car by the dealership on friday to get it checked out I figured they didn't reset the computer or whatever. It turns out the code that came up said it was Misfiring, so they checked and made sure none of the spark plug wires were loose and cleared the code and sent me on my way.

Saturday night my girlfriend and I were on the way to Raleigh for the Hurricanes hockey game and right when I got to RDU airport my service engine soon light came on. Once I parked at the RBC Center my car sounded like it was misfiring, it was idling really rough. So now I guess I gotta take my car back again so they can mess something else up.
