my heat doesnt work help

well i got my car back from a shop.. didnt try to use the heat for a bit.. but now my heat doesnt work.. i got a cluch put in at the shop any ideas

the one weird thing I noticed was before I gave it to the shop there was in some point of turning the knob from hot to cold u had to give it some force in twicting it,, now to go from hot to cold it Is loose n does it with ease

does the a/c still work? I'm not sure where the heater control valve is located on our cars but its possible there's an issue with that.

Air pockets in the cooling system, no coolant, blockage in the heater core etc. Good luck.

Does the fan blow? Does the ac work? Btw, why are you posting on the forums about this? Take it back to the shop and have them fix it.

*a clutch job has almost nothing to do with anything in the hvac system fyi.

I would start with the basics like WHTEVO said. Check the coolant level, bleed cooling system out, try the A/C see if that works. Can you hear the blower motor working when you change the controls? Although if you just got a clutch put it and now something that worked before doesnt work I would be taking it back!

The coolent level is perfect, the AC does work, and when I turn the 1-4 lvl of air blowing it just blows outside weather temp in the car..

Hope this helps some of u guys our there that could possably help me

Someone at the shop broke the knob. Common problem. Do a search. There is lots of information here on this subject.
