tuner took advantage of me big time and im pissed

Well im not going to spare details so this might be a long one. Well, about 3 months ago, I was bored with the power my car was making, so I decided to throw a couple more little mods on my car, and bring the car to a local tuner around my area who happens to have their dyno sheet posted in a magizene currently, so there decently known (its not Stirictly or AMS just to clarify). Well I paid 1,000$ cash for a Dyno tune, valve spring/retainer install, fuel rail and injector install. Pricey, i know, but i figured it would be worth it with the tune. well the day came, my tuned car was ready to be put back in my hands. So I go talk to the shop owner/tuner, and he says it ran great, its got more power and this and that. So I was like alright man thanks ill see ya. Well ever since then my air fuel ratio has been acting strange, but I didnt know how to read it untill my good friend was like, vince this isnt making any sence, go back to dave and have him fix it. Well he said he was gonna be out of town for a few days, so I decided to take another route with a tuner that tuned the car for the previous owner, and was eager to tune mine. So he comes over, we throw on some new injectors, hop in the car and take a drive

------check this out---------

"im pulling up the current tune in the car, and its deffinantly not a custom dyno tune"

"dude what do you mean, it was just done a few months ago"

"every car I ever tune, I leave a "waterstamp" in the map so I can tell if its mine, and I save it"

" are you serious, what are you saying?"

"this tune in april 2010 is the exact tune im pulling up that i saved in may right before you bought the car in may 2009"

"So your telling me my dyno tune was a 500.00$ piece a paper that just told me what horsepower the car was at long before I bought it??"

"Yeah, I suggest you go back to him, and say I have imperiable proof that you never tuned my car, because this map im looking at is literally identical in every aspect to last years.

So lets here some imput, because at this point I feel my new tuner is thoroughly correct on what he is saying. because I saw the proof.

heres the job of XXX who tuned the car before I owned it and this is what came up today, needless to say the new tune is bad ***

That's awful! Can you get printouts or take pic's of what your tuner has on his computer? If you took this guy to court for fraud you would need proof of what happend. Those printouts would be great for your case. Hopefully, he will make good and return a portion of your money. Don't ever go back to that shop.

honestly, as a community, the tuners name or at least the name of the shop needs to be said so we can stop things like this from happening to future forum members.

I'd tell him to give you all your money back and be glad you dont sue him. Then I'd tell the community the name of this Shop to avoid anyone else getting screwed.

But Im vindictive.

Yeah the very well known tuner who sat in my front seat today is pissed too. He said he will gladly back me up and has the maps in hand, dated, with his own insignia in it.

Well im nice enough that I would say hey, refund my money, and ill walk away with no complaints. God knows how much you harmed my engine, and I could try and get you for that, but at this point id be satisfyed if I didnt pay you 500$ cash to do 65$ worth of dyno runs.
