He most likely has the push conversion for the Exedy clutches.

OP: In my opinion, fix the transmission mount, or go with an Exedy push style clutch. Fixing the transmission will probably be your cheaper option.
what failed exactly, my clutch is at spec currently.

I am having issues with the TOB. There is a squeak when the pedal is engaged, and sometimes the pedal gets stuck to the floor, and you have to manually pull it back up. Jeremy swears that it can't be the hydro TOB making this noise. I have installed two new master cylinders, and bled the system five times. I problem only occurs when the motor is running. This is very weird to me which makes me think it has something to do with the rotating assembly of the clutch. Jeremy thinks it has something to do with the pedal assembly, which would mean it would have issues with the motor not running as well.

For what its worth, Jeremy has been very helpful and cooperative thus far trying to diagnose the problem, starting with my first RMA in September.

Everyone I have talked to, including some top members on this board are stumped. I am awaiting an email from Shep for his insight.

Do you have any pinched or defective lines running to/from the TOB?

That's a good point and one thing I haven't checked completly.

EDIT: OP it is not my intention to Hijack your thread

I checked the line, and it *appears* to be fine. I have the full AMS clutch line. I removed the retaining clip just in case that was causing the issue. I wish I could report back on if it helped or not, but I can't get her to start.

OP:

Were you able to start fixing your transmission case?

Yea, JMFab fixed the case, but im still out money and labor from the clutch jobs, ive sent it back to spec almost every 3 months since last year. The car has been down longer then it has been running. Im on my 3rd clutch master cylinder and new lines. The only thing left to replace is another brand of clutch or a new trans. Both i dont believe i should be responsible if i never had these problems before this. However, Jeremy has been very helpful with the rma process, although i know its not his problem, i believe spec should back thier product, thier have been many members who have got rid of thier clutch due to the various problems. Spec could also argue that they have members who have no problems, such as TedB.

I am glad you were able to fix the bell housing. I have reached out to Ted and he no idea what my issue was.

I would be content with a full refund from Spec, if that would ever happen.

Good luck with your new clutch.

I asked for a refund, or possibly a partial refund, and he said he couldnt do that. Im 4k in labor not including the storage fee and fluids. To me thats unacceptable. My previous clutch lasted me 2 years and 55k miles without a single problem.
