This happen about a week ago I started to smell gas a little in the cab, but I look all over the car and around the fuel system in the engine bay no fuel as I can see. The car doesn't seem like she is running any different but when I had my clutch installed about 2/3 months ago I had the tune check bc I just bought the car and she is running real rich but could never smell it then. O and I have a walbro 255 its really loud I can hear it like 10+ feet away is that normal thank you

Normal to hear the pump, but didn't think its that loud. Are you sure its a gas smell and not an exhaust smell? Maybe your housing was not seated right when the fuel pump was installed. This is in your car under the rear seat cushion.

Make sure your gas cap is closed properly. Happened to me after the pump attendant didn't close the cap properly.

Just because you can't see any fuel leaking doesn't necessarily mean you have a fuel leak. Fuel evaporates quickly especially with the engine heat so it could be gone off the surface before you can even see it, but still smell it. I'd investigate a little further into that.

Thank you ill check all of that and the fuel pump like picks when it wants to be loud sometimes its loud and then. I can't hear it other times

I've heard loud ones and quiet ones, seems like mine tends to be a tad louder with the A/C on, other than that it's just loud enough I know its there. When I had my DSM it was loud as all hell, maybe from lack of insulation though.

Check the seals on your injectors...mainly the ones on top of the injector that are on the fuel rail.
