I became a proud owner of a Evo IX MR 06 ,4 months ago

Now iam no tech guy and i dont pretend to be one so here it goes.....

So far , its all good

I bougth it with :

Greddy exhaust
HKS BOV
HKS Intake
walbro fuel pump
unknown injectors
some trashy turbo manifold
and of course its stock turbo

Since then i have done to it is

Change the manifold to the stock one - port it & ceramic coat added
Hallman boost controller
Fix the vacuum lines
Mechanic (Norman Evo) did something to the stock wastegate
Aem Wideband added
Greddy turbo timer added - for safety and coolness


My Transfer case is whinning , not so loud , iam afraid that i may be broken , but iam going to do change of fluids next to see if it stops , if it doesent ............anyways.

after all that was installed

A tune was done and boost was increased

330hp @ 25 boost that was the avg . it something showed up as 342hp

So far i was happy with the result , but of course more work has to be done.

Anyways dont know what should i do next my goal is to reach 400hp

i was thinking i could reach that by putting new intercooler and ic pipes which are currently stock and cams but i dont know if that is JUST it.

get some volks and susp to compromise with your engine works

 

uicp doesn't do **** for ur car. Get the licp and intercooler for sure to hold more boost and quicker spool along with 02 housing. Cams will def give you more power/torque if tuned right. 400hp and a evo 9 is easy.

 

Take a look at the injectors to see if it has the info written on them. Depending on what they are, maybe E85 would be a good step since you have a pump and a tuner available. I would also get a down pipe & test pipe if it hasn't already been done.

Be careful about the whining t-case. If it needs a new ring & pinion it can get very pricey very quick.
