Removing the trunk spring bars

I heard that you can remove these but is there a special trick to removing them? I tried twisting them around and whatever I thought would work but it's not working.

use a flat tip screw driver and a wrench. the fastest way to describe it is you use the flat tip to start untwisting them, then the wrench to hold it into place and pop them out. it is really not that hard, you just can't be gentle. those 2 bars are a PITA to get to pop lol.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a Seibon cf trunk installed and it is annoying to keep it from flying up.

Do you have to remove both torsion bars or just 1 for carbon fiber trunk and APR GTC200 wing?
