Nice parts list! I am envious of your drivetrain setup! I'm starting a build too as soon as my pistons come in the mail to get my block bored. Doing a 2.4, sure I will also have a thread up before too long. I will keep an eye on yours! You have some very high dollar stuff there!

I will happy with the car if it moves under its own power. After that we will see what I can make it do.

Thanks guys! I drove it the winter I bought it but it will never see salt again. I am really looking forward to this spring and summer. The end of this month I will have some progress to show. School and work has been keeping me out of the garage.

I will breaking this thing in very soon. As soon as I can get the bay cleared this thing should be running. Here are few of the many updates. I am going to break it in on the old turbo and small fuel setup. I hope it runs as good as it all looks. Look forward to some more updates this week as the last couple vital parts come in. As soon as I get some miles on her and make sure all is well I can start swapping more parts and doing some real tuning.

16'' Wheels

Got rid of these for these.

I wouldn't use that gates timing belt due to what I read on the forums or the cocktail for the tranny.

As far as the fluids for the trans go I am trusting what Shep says. That mix of fluid is for a little bit colder weather. I am not sure what problems you are talking about with the timing belt.
