Finally!!! Thumbs up to Mits.!!!!

Ok after having a notchy shifter for the longest time. Taking my car to one Mits. dealer and have them Fouck up my clutch line, and say if you do this ,, your warrenty is gone, if you do this he cant warrenty anything on your Evo. I say forget this BS, I will try another Mits Dealer.

It all comes down to if your Evo tech really cares about cars, or just punches a time clock. Well my new Mits. service I will be going to from now on cares about Evo's!!

He said this is a performance car ment to be driven hard, not abused mind you, but to be driven like it is ment to. I almost craped my pants, and fainted! This is what I have been wanting to hear from the start, the friggin truth!

I then keep talking with him, we bounced names off each other RMR, Bushur, Shiv, Works, HKS, Dynoflash, Kansi, he was like I have no problem with you using any of the aftermarket parts. Your Evo is a high performance car, these are high performance parts ment for your evo.

He was more than happy to recomend the Works flash, saying this will bring your evo to JDM specs, the way it was ment to be in the first place.!!!!!!

So now Im finally happy with my car, wish every Evo 8 owner the same. Not having to sneak, hope and hide your performance parts. And wonder if for some reason they will try to blame anything on anything to avoid warrenting for your car.

He even reccomended a down pipe as my first mod, RMR to be exact. He had said I have no problem installing this or a cat back. Just have the reflash done elsewhere.

Cool, and all right before X-mas!!!! Works where I come!!!!!!

Just hope you all find a great service department who wont try to BS you to death. If Mits. would have done this from the get go do you realize how many people would LOVE them, and not say I will never shop, buy, reccomend these guys to anyone anytime ever again! Food for thought.

Also I dont care to release who or where this dealer is located, just hope your Mits Service department employs car lovers. It makes everyone involved much happier.

When you blow your engine or tranny let's just say and bring it in for warranty work let's see if they are as nice as they seem
Right now it's all talk but when **** really happens you never know

My dealer is the same way, only problem is if you blow you motor or tranny it's not THERE call. They send a rep out for anything over $500 and if he sees it's screwed with you will not be covered. They can not just change the motor without a rep saying it's okay. But it does help.

Ya Ya Ya..... but isnt this better than being told you put a air freshener in your warrenty is gone?

Im not planning on NOS, or extremes like that,,, just a little re-flash, exhaust,,, He was cool with that.

This was by no means a " do what ever you want, roll cage, NOS, SFAC, what have you,,,,, we will cover you"

More like this is a high performance car, these aftermarket parts make the car perform on the same level the car was ment to perform at. Who in here would agrue this? Just look how MITS markets and advertises this car?????!!!!!!

I dont plan on going AL nuts or anything, just a few here and there. Also he knows I take care of my car, I dont beat it,,, service records also show this.

Maybe I should not have made this post, but I just feel better about owning my Evo more than ever.

I don't think it's the dealer's call in terms of what's covered by warranty... they get paid either way, right?

I'd opt not to have Mitsubishi do the service if I had to pay. Tuning shops tend to be cheaper and more reliable.

MMC sets the standards for what services they will reimburse the dealership, but since the only representation you see is through the dealership and they don't want to bother with the hassle, they generally make it difficult for you.
