I am thinking about switching to e85, but living in Orlando, I really only have one convenient location. I stopped by there today just to check the place out and on the e85 pump there was a sign that said "70% minimum ethanol content". Anybody else see these signs around? Could it mean that their quality fluctuates and they arent liable for actually providing e85 quality?

All ethanol will fluctuate over time, it absorbs water due to tanks having to be vented and filled.

they have changed all the pumps around here to say "Flex Fuel"... the E85 logo is gone.

i would not think the ethanol content in the fuel station tanks are changing due to water...
its changes because the blends are different...
summer around here is almost at 90%.
winter around 70%

I know that in Ohio We have what they call a winter Blend and a summer Blend. Summer is E85 and Winter is around E70. its just letting you know by low that it can not be below e70

So do you guys feel a big difference when running between the winter and summer blends? Should i have my car tuned only during summer in that case?

I haven't messed around with it myself yet, but there is a flexfuel patch for the Tephra V7 ROMs over in the ecuflash sub. If you get that setup with the sensor then it will adjust on its own when the blend changes.

I have never noticed nor tuned differently power wise for winter and summer blends, only change for the AFR. Everything between 11.5-12.5afr has ran perfect from my years of experience, I wouldn't be too worried. If your tuner isn't willing to send an easy touch up tune if the AFR swings beyond that, look into someone that provides quality service.
