What kind of question is that? Actually I can't say because the 350z is not out yet but I am pretty sure you can't compare the 2. Performance wise the EVO will blow the 350 away...as fo style everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If you watch "international Best Motoring vol.2" and "vol.3", in the rain the EVO VII beats the GT-R, M3, WRX STi, Porsche Carrera, NSX, RX-7 and a few others... in the dry it can keep up with a 996 Porsche Turbo, a GT-R and blows a Ferrari 360 away...(all this is on a circuit)

what category are you talking about, cause if you mean 0-60, then you are sorely mistaken, I beg to differ on the 360 also. To begin with SCC tested a stock 360 modena against some of the top tuner cars in this country, guess which was the eventual winner.....Ferrari. You just cant "F" with the Scuderia.

No I wasn't talking about 0-60, I was talking about around a track. The video was featuring all the cars I mentioned above, the cars were driven by some of the best drivers in japan, including Keiichi Tsuchiya aka Drift King and a few guys leading the Japanese GT Championship. They were racing the cars around the Tskuba circuit.
The Turbo was faster in the straights because of the power advantage but the EVO would catch up in the corners. After 5 laps the 2 cars were still just about 1 second apart, while the 360 was 5-6 secs behind.
I know both the turbo and 360 are faster than the EVO to 60, but hey what do you expect when there is 120-140hp difference? Don't mess with the EVO VII extreme-s though...

I wouldn't use this in your argument AW. Neither the Evolution nor the REX were not included in that test first off. Also the catagories that the Ferrari won really had nothing to do with performance at all aside from braking I believe. As far as I remember it lost every speed peformance test to the other cars it merely won out overall because of the battery of tests were not restricted purely to performance.

Post NOTE:

To anyone who has $$$ to waste on a 100+G car. Spend that money on a skyline or an evo and see how that compares to your 100G machine.

Isnt overall what counts, it won because it was consistently good at everything.

Well yeah there is no arguing that a 100+k car will be better than a 30k car... I wouldn't take my 360 off road though...

Good=Just Okay Best=Winner First let me clear up which test I see as true test of the best car.

1.Driveabililty Winner Ferarri

2.Dyno Winner Hyundai

3.1/4 mile Winner Hyundai

4. Road Winner Ferrari(w/Rhy Millen behind the wheel)

5.Skidpad Winner Datsun

6.Braking Winner ITR

The other tests I disclude because they have completely nothing to do with performance. Although the Skyline was in that group of tested cars just remember it was mistuned and as I said the Evolution was not present for these tests. I'm sure if we had seen a car like say JoCCE's Super Lemon or the Jun Supra or Super Evo or Super WRX in that test it wouldn't have been a contest between them and the Ferrari.

You might wanna disclude that twin engine methanol burning Tiburon and instead perhaps put the second place winner of those contests considering the extremely built nature of that Tiburon compared to the other cars.
