question on bayson-r or other aftermarket vortex generators

was wondering about these aftermarket vortex generators (non-oem). is it a concern when they are mounted that water could get in through the antenna hole and end up just sitting there (ie, end up being standing water)? has anybody ever had this issue?

the water should make its way out..its not like its a water tight seal between the VG and the roof.

I'm REALLY curious about this as well, and was the reason I removed mine before winter to prevent any rust forming underneath the VG. Any thoughts?

I have the Bayson R VG on my car, no issues with water what so ever. I had it off last year, and the paint underneath was fine. There is a line on the roof from where it sat, so I don't see myself ever not running one again, but no damage from water. I suggest waxing the area real good before you mount it.

I had the bayson r vg on my black evo, Fitment was superb! I have their do-luck style carbon lip now on my blue evo. No issues whatsoever. Bayson r is a good ebay seller.

^^Have you guys ever taken the VG off though? I know some of the older evos had issues with rusting roofs, I just don't want to deal with that for a slightly better look.
