Software Gauge Setup - Evoscan GPS and Zt-2
Software Gauge Setup - Evoscan GPS and Zt-2
I am looking to make a software gauge setup that will read all the engine data I desire. What I have gathered so far is that I'd like to run a combination of an Evoscan GPS and a Zeitronix Zt-2. I would use the Zeitronix to gather engine data that Evoscan is not capable of doing on its own. I would use the Zeitronix to retrieve the following data:
AFR
EGT
Oil Pressure (via the user1 input)
Oil Temperature (via the user2 input)
I would then like to output the Zeitronix data via the Evoscan GPS. My questions are in regards to this union. Is it possible to output all the data from a Zeitronix on a Evoscan GPS??? Meaning not just display the AFR and EGT data from the Zt-2 on the Evoscan GPS, but Oil Pressure and Temperature as well?
And then any bit of data that Evoscan can read can be logged correct? Meaning I would be able to log my oil temps as well?
The way I see it this could be quite cost effective compared to a fancy Defi setup with 4 electronic gauges (boost, EGT, oil temp, oil pressure), the Defi control unit, and a AFR gauge (which would require a wideband controller anyway). Not to mention the benefits of logging the extra data.
