You have to get a CF roof. That would be ballin. Question for yah, did you puchase your Evo over there or did transportation bring it for you from the states?

just to answer one of the questions.. yes, sunroofs were a factory option for the evo.. it came on the SSL package (sun, sound, leather)...very off that it flew off

I bought it from a dude over here. I've already had to replace the transmission (now a fully built brand new 'stage 2' shep racing trans with ISF process and an exedy twin plate HD), fuel pump, and now a sunroof. Lesson: Don't buy cars from other Joes.

I'm not quite convinced that it's OEM because the buttons are on a black bezel while everything else isn't, not to mention I don't have leather seats...

gotcha, well it was an option... lol... but i would also assume yours was aftermarket, and thats why she flew away on ya...but in the end, the AMS carbon roof will look damn sexy up there

An update for those who care, or find this through google: there was a recall issued for webasto hollandia 700 sunroofs (http://www.allworldauto.com/recalls/...ll_106882.html ). Apparently they were doing exactly what mine did. http://eligible.sunroofcheck.com/pro...mer_portal.nsf is the place to file a claim if you have one.

Soo, assuming i can get the sunroof replaced for free, that's what I'm going to go with. Don't exactly feel like dropping 1k+ install on a CF roof if I don't have to...
