Aem uego or innovate wideband

I'm in the process to get a new wideband gauge for my 03 evo, n I would like to know from experience out there which one should I get? Which one is better as for as tunning ur evo? Any input about pros and cons from each gauge is greatly appreciated, tnx a lot....

in my opinion, I like the AEM if not by aesthetics alone. THe Innovative is a pain to install too.

i bought my car with an innovate in it and then i decided to buy the aftermarket guage for it and never installed it. ripped it out and installed the aem. it's easier to install and deal with.

I've only used the AEM in my dsm and Evo. Def is simple to install and easy to wire up for logging.

I think if you're picking between those two, it comes down to which one you prefer aesthetically. They cost about the same. Work about the same. Only negatives I would know of is that the innovate seems to need re-calibrated more often than the aem. Logging with the AEM doesnt seem to be as straight forward as the Innovate, as you have to build your own cable (not complicated) to interface the gauge with the laptop.
I decided to go AEM because in my picky little brain, i want to have matching gauges (afr, boost, oil psi, etc). I dont know if that is a functionally sound decision on my behalf, but we'll see.
Hope this aids your decision making. Its taken me way to long to make mine.

ps. i couldve sworn i posted in a similar thread this morning?

tnx a lot for all the input, I should be able to do logging with both gauges right? The only reason I asked is caudse I read innovate has some kind of award winning sofware called log works engine tuning, so I dont if this feature gives it an edge over the aem uego.. Also besides this gauge which r the only other gauge I really need. I always heard u only need boost, wideband and oil pressure gauges is that true? once again tnx a lot..

Really cant go wrong with the AEM. I have it, and love it. Quick response, easy to install, and the replacement o2 sensor can be had for around 50 bucks.

+1 to that, I also picked up the weldless bung adapter and the AEM gauge for ~210 bucks. Works like a charm and looks good.

I run the AEM in both my Evo and Supra. I like it over the Innovate for all of the reasons listed above. +1

My buddy was using an Innovate in his Supra, but he was getting frustrated with having to calibrate it so often - definetly had to if he changed octane. He even installed a push-button calibration in his dash.... Not worth the hassle if you ask me.

Same here, another vote for AEM. I'm running one now. No calibration and easy install.

AEM. Innovate calibration is a pain in the ***. And my gauge just stopped working. Although customer service was good I just switched to AEM.
