What did you pay for YOUR (non X) Evo??
I purchased a 2003 EVO VIII with 74,XXX miles from an insurance company for $5,000 that was involved in a non moving accident. Needed both passenger doors, fender, side mirror, and headlight. Bought all of these items off of here and painted them in my garage. Car was almost good as new. I then traded the car for my current one which had the 14,000 miles on it
He liked silver and I liked black.

$12K with 76,000 miles on an '03 GSR in Septemeber of '09. Only mods were an intake, tubular manifold and TBE.
The car was basically my dream Evo (BBY with a carbon fiber hood) when I first got it. Since then I won't say it's been a nightmare but it's definitely been quite the adventure. Car ended up having a lot more problems than I was originally told. Add in a "free" stock reflash from Mitsu and some bad retuning by an "unnamed" shop and I've been fighting since last January to make everything right. Also add in a new clutch, front brakes, struts and springs, and tires along the way and I'd say I've got at least $15K into it.

03 with 88k on the body and head, 20k on block, with intake and exhaust for 13, back in October. My first one i bought a year before for 9.1 off ebay sight unseen but for the price i thought why not. t-case blew after a few weeks replaced it with a new tre stage 3, then got totaled by some 16yr old following her mom. i still miss it sometimes cause i put sooooo much time into fixing it and putting it back into good shape.
03 BBY, With sunroof, Ralliart front canards, and MR gauges. 40k miles, and PERFECT condition other than the cancer on the wing.
Picked it up a month ago for $15,249. Exactly what he owed on his loan. I thought it was a pretty damn good deal since he got it from the dealership he worked at for 17k about 6 months earlier (I would assume that was a discounted price since he was an employee)
