Unsuccessful Evo Purchase

Hey guys, I'm a little bummed cause I didn't get my Evo today

I went to brand in glendale and they had one Black w/o sunroof with 14 miles on it They apparently sold the newer one that had shipping tape still on it.

Anyways, I'm going to go to Puente Hills tomorrow cause they have 2 black w/o sunroof with less then 10 miles on the odometer and said they can match or beat the price brand gave me (500 over invoice). Wish me luck!

If things dont pan out at Puente......keep your eyes on both and call them on the 30th or 31st and see if they are still there.....if they are, I bet they take your offer.....got to hit those 2003 sales numbers :-)

I'd take the one with 14
I didn't want to pick up one with 1500 neither the one with 500 but couldn't leave the one with 8 for someone else
Anyways good luck!

Yeah, I know what you mean about the one with 500 and 1500 miles. When I got mine back in July it had 3 miles on it. I picked it up the next day with 10 miles (the 7 I put on it during the test drive). Such a good feeling. Good luck with on your hunt for the Evo.

Yea, that's Mike Kim. He's a nice guy and knows a good deal about cars.

About a week ago I was at Santa Monica Mitsubishi for service and one guy who test drove the Evo got a price of $27,900.00 before tax and license for sunroof and spoiler. Later I say them advertise the car for that price in the paper. give them a try, but their sales people kinda suck.

You should be able to get one for a very good price since the end of the year is so near. I hope to get mine within the next 2 weeks and I was quoted $31.9 out the door with wing and sunroof, or $500 over invoice. That was in November I have been since told that if I decide to get an 03 instead of waiting for an 04 they will give me another $1500-2000 back, also I just sold my 97 Eclipse but I still have a copy of the registration so I can probably get $1K more in loyalty cash
