Traded in my 03 WRX today. All I can say is wow. Even driving part throttle that extra power can be felt. The turbo sounds much better too. I can't wait to go 100%.

I too was anxious to be able to rev past 5k but when I finally did, it was very disappointing. There are mods that you can get to give you more power in the upper ranges though. I just don't want you to expect too much and then be disappointed like me. I have since added an AVO downpipe and cat-back. It helped a little but I'm still looking for more. My last car was a 400hp 300ZXTT so I was used to a powerful push above 5k.

Wecome and enjoy the ride. Remember though the Evo is not just about power/high speed, It's a well rounded car with power, handling and braking. Put all that togather and you have a lit' monster of a car.
