So i installed this boost guage the other day, it was purchased from a forum member. I was kind of pissed when I realized the wires were shorting somewhere, and ended up finding all the wires cut up and resoldered near the sensor.

I removed the tape and separated everything to test it again, and voila! guage turned on and started working (sort of)

I understood the gauge would calibrate itself, but was confused to see it moving in large increments and being extremely laggy.

A couple days later, it starts working somewhat good, but noticed it was exactly one increment off. With the engine off, the psi showed -2.5. whatever.

well today, 4 days after install, the needle refuses to move at all. It starts up fine, sets the warning PSI limit fine, lights up fine, but the needle is stuck in the perfectly straight-down, 6 o'clock position. wtf.

stri needs a receipt of original purchase to honor a warranty, and I paid the seller a gift payment with paypal

am I stuck with this $125 POS?
