Swapping to 6 gear box is a downgrade in my opinion and 1st gear whine is normal. I got it as well as thousands others.

You're gonna hear this mechanical sound more so on an RS because of it's general lack of sound deadening material and firewall insulation. My RS is quite noisy but I love it.
