110,000 miles on my IX MR

I now have 110K miles on my IX MR daily driver in a little over 5 years. Nothing has ever broken on the car. I never had a warranty repair. I just service it according to Mitsubishi's recommendations and drive it hard on the street. It was tracked twice early its its life but never since. The clutch wore out at 72K miles and now I have 38K on the second clutch with no problems. What a great car! I'm keeping it forever.

Bilstein are definitely quality shocks!!! I had feeling that you are a mature adult evo owner.

I think you should reflash your car with no mods you will get little more power and torque out of it.

Congrats. You're one of the more responsible owners to be able to do that with no issues. Mine is an 03, with 130k, original trans, tc, and rear diff, and motor untouched other than add-ons. I daily drive all year round, autox and track during when the season is open. my car is doing double duty this year with my yuonger brother co-driving. These cars will go forever if properly maintained.

Yeah TS you should at least get a Reflash along with the other necessary mods (Boost Gauge, Wideband Gauge, Boost Controller, and maybe a drop-in filter & Fuel Pump) lol. Maybe even an aftermarket map sensor for logging boost.

I think its federal law that they are warrantied to last 90,000 miles? If it "breaks" or "leaks" before then... you get a new one "free of charge"...

This is different than your manufacturer warranty because it is federal.

Just goes to show what happens when an Evo isn't frucked up by a bunch of useless mods, and is owned by a responsible adult who knows how to drive.

Great to hear I'm @75k with no breakdowns. Got it when I was 23, 26 now. Bought it used with 30k on it, dragged it numerous times when I first got it, did some auto x and a track day. Got a TBE, tune/pump/boost controller, and dragged it a couple more times, hit 13.0 and stopped racing all together, I wasn't getting faster and haven't added anything to make a difference. Haven't done the clutch (I think PO put in an ACT), TC is still quiet, gears shift nice and... well... notchy most of the time haha. These are bulletproof cars if you maintain them and aren't an idiot.

Oh, the AC condenser fan sheared off the retaining nut and I thought the front end was falling apart when I had the ac on. So something did break. And a light in the gauge cluster burnt out. Really minor things IMO, the Sentra I had previously was on its 3rd engine, in 33k miles, bought brand new.
