starter problem ; [
few months ago my car would randomly just not start as in when i turn the key I could hear my fuel pump priming but the engine would not turn over at all , then I would push my car in gear just a tad and then try again and it would start up , so I figured the starter was bad so I replaced it and it worked great for only a couple months
so now its starting to do the same thing again and I dono what to do i wonder whats making the starter go bad so fast , or if its something else , one other thing to note , the car starts up really easy when its cold but after its warm and i park it for an hour or so sometimes it can take a few attempts to fire up , it has no maf its running speed density not sure if that matters , and has stock ecu , I think sometimes blipping the gas helps it but even with that only 2 months i dont think the starter should fail that soon so i dono any ideas

good question I'm not sure if its OEM or not I'll have to figure that out, I think it is but am not 100% sure , I'v heard some other guys say the ground wire possibly and clutch sensor but mine works after i roll the car a bit in gear , not sure if its the vibration bumping something loose or if its because its actually cranking the motor a partial rotation to change the starter position actually today I dont think it cranked at all when i rolled it and popped the clutch I just rolled it a couple feet then put it in gear and then it just started so I'm actually starting think it might be something to do with the ground wire connection or some kind of connection issue appreciate all the input
It sounds like you have a reman and the quality of starter remans is so over the place that I refuse to use them. Instead, if I have starter problems, I take the starter to an automotive electricial shop and have it rebuilt. What I get back is the same as new for less money.
I bet your one or both of your cables has electrolysis and there is next to no cable left in the housing.
If you are running the stock battery and never cleaned the cables it a good place to start.

ground wire seems ok , cleaned the terminals real good and made sure there on tight so far no problem hopefully that did the trick also ... i have no battery tie down so if i accel or brake real hard probly moving the battery back and forth just a tad , wich may have made the connection loose so getting a tie down for it tomorrow hoping thats all it was thanks for the input much appreciated
I have the same problem check the connection on the starter there's a little plug that connects to a metal prong.... When my car foes that i have to wiggle that in order for it to start... I think because I had a small.oil leak on that spot and the oil messed with the connection
