AEM oil press gauge

Looking into getting the aem oil press gauge. Does anyone know if it comes with the sender and everything? Their site doesn't say much. Also it comes with values of up to 100 & up to 150 psi. Is it necessary to get the 150? Same cost.

if it's the same cost, why not just get the 150psi one and be on the safe side?

Same price, just get the 150psi. Even though the one 100psi one is enough.

Highest I see is on a cold start is below 100psi, or if I'm doing like 80-90mph on thruway. Stock motor.

I would not get a 100 psi gauge since you already reading 85-90psi on a start up or at highway cruising. Get a 150psi, and yes comes with everything. I was going to get the AEM, but ended up with a prosport one its just as good, and for a lot less....you need this though an 1/8" NPT Oil Pressure Adaptor for the oil filter housing...here where i got mine from http://store.42draftdesigns.com/Excl..._c_23-2-0.html

Ok well I ordered my aem oil pressure gauge and am not sure what adapter I need for the oil filter housing. Is it npt or bpst adapter because aem is not listed on their site. Thats all I should need to do the install correct?

So if I order that ams adapter is that all I need to do the install? No other fittings?

The fitting that comes with it will screw right into the oil filter housing. Its a pretty straight forward install. The only problem I had was the wires weren't quite long enough, so I had to cut the wires about 6 inches from the plug and extend them 18 inches or so just to be safe. I rolled up the excess and zip tied it above the K member and done.

I also went with the 150psi sender just to be sure if I ever had any sudden oil psi spikes I would know.

Thanks for all the responses! Im going to buy that ams kit just to be safe and so it gives me a little more added length for the install.
