bumper fitment issue

So I have my original VIII bumper and I have my chopped bumper. Both have issues with fitment on the driver side under the headlight. Does anyone else have this issue? If so can it be fixed? I would really like to get it sitting like the pass side. here are some pics of the issue.
Sorry for the cell pics.
bad

good

Thanks

Normal. Once a panel comes off the car you just can't expect factory fitment out of it when it goes back on. Part of life.

its prolly just the fact of not having the bumper support. Sun hits it, heats it up, makes it sag a little.

really not too noticeable, but just mess with it. i noticed whenever i take my front bumper off i always have to readjust a few times to get everything lined up correctly.

Just the way some bumpers are. Doing collision work for a living I dont really see bumpers sag a whole lot but sometimes placing them under a heat lamp and applying pressure to kind of reform the bumper then cooling it quickly will help but typically it will not last very long at all if the sun beats on it.

Any updates on this, I have the same problem right now. These auto x teams and such, how do they keep their bumpers looking good. They probally have brackets or something. It sucks to have such a nice car and have saggy bumpers lol

The only way to fix this is to fabricate a new bracket. I've seen brand new evos with this problem.

I had the same problem on my factory 8 bumper and now the same when I put a 9 bumper on. I have real bad OCD though and am going to fabricate some other type of mounting solution to keep it straight. Everything I look at my car's front end I feel like killing someone.

It happened to be when I installed JDM headlights. I found out the support clips were worn out from taking the bumper on and off a few times, and once I replaced all the clips it was straight and flush again. You can get the set of 3 clips from the dealer for around $16 or so.
