I will definitely hang out here to learn. If I ask dumb questions in some threads, please don't get mad.
I will use the "search" function quite a bit.

There are ton of D-bags here. lol just as there are in any other forum. I guess you have to be lucky. Most guys on here are really cool and actually use the forum as what it was intended, for help.

Your best bet is to post up in the "WTT section (Want to trade/buy)" but you have to get I believe 50 post.

I would say try craigslist. Or check out some dealers. If your in California I can direct you to a couple good dealers.

Not for that Evo. You might be better off parting out the 'stang and selling it. It would be a pita, but you would get the most money that way. Then, you could buy a nice Evo.

That mustang looks nice. I would keep it if you like straight line power and drag racing.

I hold out. Unless he has the stock body. It does have low miles. For 03 its very low. Kind of strange. I check out the car though. Btw awesome Stang. Just keep looking. You find something. I too looking for a evo.

but for your question i would not do it. part out your stang sell it and you could probably get a nice evo, maybe even a X.
Because Mustangs are garbage, easily the worst car I have ever owned.

With that said OP, I still wouldn't trade for THAT Evo.

I'm going to be honest.....IMO for your stang... heads up trade is not fair considering what you have in comparison.... trade plus $4-6k is probably fair.

Keep the Mustang man. That is a clean looking stang and that Evo is just done wrong with that body kit Honestly, if you really want to get into a Evo. Take your time and look around on here and local. There are a decent amount of Evos around the Illinois area. One will come around GL man!

keep the stang..... looks simple and clean... look for a non ricer ,clean looking evo. that evo is just funny and straight ricer.... be smart and start out with a clean almost stock evo. BUt yes EVOs IMO are better than stangs/camaros...

I would sell the Mustang and then figure out what you want in a Evo and look for one that fits you. List it for sale on all the Mustang sites. I take it you can't keep the Mustang and buy an Evo which would be the best option. I have owned a lot of stangs and still love them but I wanted something different. I sold my 2001 Mustang Bullitt to pay for my Evo. I still have my '87 which I have owned for 17 years. I bought the Evo for a daily driver which so far as been real fun. If you want an Evo take the jump and get one, you can always buy another Mustang down the road.

Touche... but it will never be the same Mustang. So be for sure before you take that leap.
