I don´t know if this is the right section:

I would like to know what times can I expect with my fp Black in 1/4 mile. With stock evo 9 turbo (89 oct)+alky, evo 4 stock motor, I ran 12.3 in 1/4 mile. (1.9 60ft) sucks!

I want to know the times with this turbos in your evos!!! And see what can I expect for my times with the Black. Thanx!

 

I hope you have an idea of the number of variables to the question you have presented.

Last year on Hoosier QTPs, Built 2.0 Fp black ported I went 9.76@142 with a best trapped speed of 147.

 

I only want to know how much is the 1/4 mile times of Evos with FP black... Times and mods not too specific, for example:

11.0@124mph Mods: 2.0 forged and 97 oct! only that!! (of course with Fp Black).

Is that a big problem??

Thanks man! It was both, wasnt a DD driver every day just drove the car on the weekends all the time. Def was a street car!

 

Evosick is just a good driver. I don't think its the norm though. My guess for an avg is 10.5-11 depending on weight and driver.

 

Nice... I would love to live in USA! For us (In El Salvador and Central America) it´s dificult tune a car, because nobady tune cars here, but I hope good times with the FP Black.. Maybe 11 low´s or 10 high´s!!! Firts god .

I have the advantage that my evo 4 jdm) does not weigh as much as the evo 8 or 9.
But we don´t have E85 or good oct gas... our oct gas is like 89 oct!! Definitly sucks!!!

You could always get a Aem meth kit or any Alky kit to help increase octane and tune for more power, just pay close attention to the system and make sure all failsafes work . Just a suggestion.

 

I have an AEM Meth kit! but only advance like 2* or 3* of timing with alky. Like I said our gas sucks!!!

 

word thats cool funny thing is there alot more subies then evos in our country lol.

 

My buddy ran 10.57, stock block/head with the exception of cams. Full interior, on Hoosiers on stock BBS. That was the only run he got in, and got kicked! lol. Prolly had more in it!
