As long as there is no frame damage you should be able to get rid of it for a decent price.

What's considered a good hit these days? My friend wrecked his 07 si and smashed the whole back side in and they had it fixed within a week or 2.

Evos are gold to insurance companies... Ive seen evos with $2-3k in frontal damage get totalled because they get so much on the salvage market for them!

Might take you up on that offer bud, thanks.

Anyone ever buy one back from insurance company? If so how much?

I know I total lossed my 99 SI, about the same type of damage, they paid me full retail like 6500 and I bought it back for 800 bux fixed it for 1500 and drove it ever since. I really want the car fixed though

Usually anything which requires them to stretch or contort the frame back into working order but more often then not an insurance agency will total it before they pay for that.

Insurance agents suppose to contact me today. I only paid 14k for the car, they gotta give me full retail which is 13900ish then minus the deductable then whatever it cost to buy it back.. I'll put the whole car up for sale on ebay or something, or fix it myself. I've seen worse sell for 9k-10k on ebay.
but it sounds like you have an okay plan
in worse-case

Going to see the asking price tomorrow that they offer me to buy it back, Im sure its going to be alot but I think I can fix it for 3k-4k.. Basically from what I've experianced, the insurance company will give you full retail, I had over 11k in receipts for parts, so that pay factor in also he took pics and all that good stuff of them. If I get 14k which is the retail, and buy it back I think I can come out alright. Already got a shop lined up ready to fix it if I buy it back.

Why did they give you 18k for a total lossed car with the retail of 14k? I wouldnt mind them giving me 18k I'd still buy it back because I know the insurance agent is a dumbass and I can come out not to bad, nothing underneath the car was even grazed.. Frame guy also said even if the frame is bent 200$ for 2 hours with the frame machine, I dont see how I could lose?
