2 serial ports under the steering wheel column, Answers?

I noticed under my steering wheel, there are 2 ports. one that is for the computer, but there is a white one right next to it. I looked at some evos and noticed they don't have one. There is only one wire going into it. The color is Green and white, It leads toward the cpu behind my glove box.
Someone help me out on this(something for logging maybe?)? Thanks

I have for gauges right now are: autometer boost, oil pressure and Narrowband (yes, I know its a waste of a gaue, just got my car not too long ago)

Those are belly buttons. Every Evo should have one.

edit: Ok. They are for log and diagnostic ports.

It is for Reflash adapters. This is necessary for Tuning on your own with tools such as EcuFlash

The black connector is the OBDII port, and the white connector is most commonly used for reflashing.

So should I still use a db-9 port on my AFR from my AEM gauge still or does this replace it?

It depends on how you have your AEM gauage setup. if its standalone mode (i.e not wired into the ECU) then you'd use the regular db-9 port to log your wideband. if you have it wired through the ECU then you can log the wideband via the black port.
