3 DUI tests? your name ends in a -ski? niestety tak jest. good to hear everyone is ok.
Even if it was fixed - it would never be the same.

The -ski on my last name might have helped for the three DUIs. Musialo im byc przykro ze nie bylem pijany

sorry to hear about your loss but glad to hear you were able to walk away from it all. Same thing happened to a few years back, got into an accident and hit the median but air bags never deployed. It sounds like a fair price they're giving you. Just like others said if i was you i would just take the cash and look for something else.

Dude, this blows hard. Personally, I'd take the money and buy a new one. New Evo > "Fixed" Evo any day!

Damn, that sucks... I've been in a couple accidents with mine, none bad enough to total it, none damaging the suspension, and knowing it when self-assessing the damage. I'd definitely have been in tears otherwise.

$18k is quite good for an insurance payout, I'd take that and pick yourself up another Evo. The reason I say that is you can rebuild a crashed car, but once that much damage is done and the suspension has been compromised the car will never be the same car it was before and it becomes less worth it in the long run.

Sorry to hear about the situation, glad you guys are ok though. Regarding the cop giving 3 tests I think it has to do with the nature of the car They just don't leave EVOs alone however they do have to make sure you weren't DUI because in that case it's not only your safety but others that they have to think about. I hope you get the situation sorted though, maybe even get a new EVO which would be awesome

The good thing is that you are safe and healthy man, it could have been much worse. As for the insurance pay out, it seems very reasonable for the year and mileage of your car so definitely take that money and find yourself a clean IX! You can look forward to doing it all over again in a new EVO at least.

As for the cops, that's terrible to hear, especially after you were involved in an accident. Personally it was probably due to you driving an EVO. People automatically brand us because of the way the EVO looks and it is a noisy/flashy car to drive as well.

Idk. I would talk it up some...
I got offered 14k on a car I totaled. Came out with 19.5k... After *****ing and making good points and waiting effin 3 weeks.
And that resulted in buying my evo =D

The good part is that you and your girlfriend were able to walk away. Obviously cars can be replaced, people can't. I would be happy to take the money, the car would never be the same again if you tried to have it fixed. Just take your time and find something nice.

the car will never be the same or i wouldn't want to go through the hassle of ripping it apart and then selling and shipping. it would break my heart even more lol

take the money and look at another ! good luck with what ever you choose.

Glad you two are okay.

Sorry to hear about the car.

As for the Airbags. it all depends on the angle of impact from the centerline and the rapid deceleration from that point. If if came in at a 30 degree angle it would probably not go off.

Again. Glad you guys are okay.
