need some quick opinions

So my evo is my DD runs fine gets about 24-25 mpg.....however when I am driving normal and shifting around 29-3000 rpm it seems like it falls on its face.....and even when I do a mid rpm range pull to redline..
.it kinda feels (off) weird....like trying to run while holding your breath .....u can do it but not as well...
plugs are gapped right....kn drop in filter is clean....any other suggestions

Do you have a boost or afr gauge? If so, what do they read when the problems occur, as well as at idle and wot?

Boost spikes to 23-24 and settles around 17-18 in 3rd....idle exactly previous owner put a gauge that only goes to 20psi and tuned it to 23 ! But I may build 1-4 psi when im shift around 29-3rpm

Sounds like a small boost leak maybe your tb shaft seal, foul plug or injector!!! do a boost leak test it may also be your overboosting!

Yes I have a hallmam nbc, forge db and full open turbo back exhaust.....the plugs look fine....I have 18-19 vaccum when at idle and warm.....so I havmt done a boost leak test.....I thought about overboosting especially only by. 1 or 2 psi.....bit I didn't think it would make it fall on its face....I would think to much fuel would cause more of that....

Are you sure it's not just your body becoming accustomed to the power? Drive a 20 year old beater for about a month and maybe the problem will go away?

Best bet would be to have a wideband to see your a/f ratios. Being a tad rich could cause a slight overboost. But im not sure being rich enough to fall on it face would cause an overboost
