Some how that got turned in to - get your oil changed then pour it in. 5000 miles of seafoam.... and the motor went another 70k before she sold it.
That is impressive but its a honda so I believe it...My brother is retarded & has run his ITR motor in his teg low on oil, to the point its not even on the dip stick, more than a hand full of times & has had 87 oct. put in the car at least a hand full of times & beats the crap out of the car & it still runs great!

I am glad you have had great results with Seafoam but I am still not pouring it in my evos oil...

----WORST DEBATER OF THE YEAR!!!!

..........................

If you took the time.. to read your ever so cleverly worded search.. you will find that in every case(I only checked the first 5)... the source of the failure was not the seafoam... and every post after stressed to the individual that the seafoam did not cause any harm...

So yes -- I will continue to preach that its 100% safe until you come up with ONE accurately presented argument.. with proof.. that seafoam... was the cause of the failure.

Maybe you should put the keyboard down before more people begin to think your dumb.

also, just use some common sense. if something is strong enough to clean out 5 years of sludge and varnish in 10 minutes, doesnt that give you an idea how strong it may be? what cleaner that strong has decent lubricity? name one.
Again you FAIL. You don't use it 10 mins and change it. If you pay attention to the directions and how to use it, it says you can use it for 3000 miles if needed. I run Brad Penn oil and I have for a while now, I ran Amsoil before that. That doesn't mean even good oils wont break down and sludge up over time. How about in the detents in the crank, or low spots in the oil pan, or any place that oil can cling onto and sit there when you car is hot and just start slugeing itself to moving parts or even in the block itself. Reguardless oil gums up no matter how good it is. And if you disagree with that, then you need to learn how **** works dude. Turbo has been spinning, you been boostin hard all day at the track, you let the car idle and get all that oil out of the system and you shut the car off. You don't think in a hot motor like that good oil wont have a tendency to break down and gum up?

Hell the first thread fizzles out.... The owner blames seafoam.. and then never returns to the thread after discovering the problem....

Commonly proof that his initial "blame" was misplaced

back to useful comments.

One thing I did notice after the 5000 mile flushing - when I rebuilt her head while doing the hg - I noticed her cam was not full of ****...

When I rebuilt my head - at similar mileage... the inside of the cam was filled with something similar to pudding..
