evolutions a car that gets vandalised alot??
Of course an Evo would be targeted more than other generic cars. Plus, most of us park a little farther away just to stay away from door dings, but that just draws more attention.
I had someone jam a pair of pliers in to my bumper not too long ago.. Prolly some jealous Subie guy.

Evos are loud, over-powered, racy annoying cars typically owned by younger annoying owners that travel in circles of other younger annoying people that tend to do younger annoying things. Yes, I probably still fall into this demographic as well but it is what it is, you can make it better or worse...
Yes, I believe the Evo (and STI) are heavily targeted by haters, jealous people and rowdy teenagers.
That's why it's a challenge to keep an Evo pristine and unmolested if you daily drive one and don't have a safe place to keep it (i.e. garage).
To play Devil's Advocate, however, let's not pretend there aren't any a-hole Evo drivers out there. It isn't hard to imagine a hater looking for "payback" because some Evo guy rolls up revving his engine, pumping bass, mad-*******, and flat brimming his way into the lot. Once that driver leaves his car, haters hate.

I think school kids should be worried because their peers could be jealous and you know teenagers they act before they think. Shady neighborhoods can get your car vandalized, leave it for 10 minutes and it will be sitting on bricks. A friend of mine owns a an 05 7-series BMW and he found his car on bricks after 6 minutes in a parking garage in a not so patrolled area. By the way that wasn't a typo, it took them 6 minutes to jack up the car, take all 4s and put in down on bricks, if they weren't scumbag thieves they could actual work for an F1 team for pitstops
Wheel locks are important. Nothing will stop someone from keying your car though. You could get it wrapped, it will be less damage because the factory paint job is hard to match.

There will always be thieves, vandals, and haters which is why you should always carry good full-coverage car insurance with a reasonable deductible no matter type of car you drive.
I hate parking my evo at the mall or anywhere with a lot of people, in fear of getting keyed/vandalized. 2 years ago my car was at the mall and got keyed, over the summer I drove my car to the mall and parked really close to the front (i figured with more attention on it people would look out for it) and had a smoothie poured on my car, at school a couple times I have came out to the parking lot and theres always a glob of spit on my rear windshield/wing.
I Fuc*ing hate dealing with that bs. I swear if I catch anyone doing that to my car I'm going to shove my evo key right through their eye.
An eye for an eye. FUC* IT!
