Bump for anyone else with a big fuel setup. I'm still on the fence. There's more than one way to skin a cat

Bringing this one back from the dead; I'm currently running Buschur DP with modded 255's, FIC 2150's, Fuel Lab mini-FPR, and Perrin fuel rail. My IDC's are in the mid-90's and I want to make sure I buy the right parts to upgrade the fuel feed to -6.

- Do I use 3/8" hose to go from the fuel filter outlet to the rail?
- Best type of hose to use / place to buy? (Summit?)
- Where to get a reliable clamp for the fuel filter outlet?
- I'll probably just get the fittings for the fuel rail from Summit as well

I am in the middle of making my fuel setup. I have a buschur dp with AN fittings, I will use 2x -6 to a NOS Y piece to go from 2x -6 to 1x -8, fuelab filter after the Y piece and -8 line to the fuelrail. -6 return from fuelrail to a mini fuelab fpr and, fuelab sells a fpr with only one inlet and one outlet, no need to blank anything off, not sure why everyone buys the 3 port and blanks one port off. From the FPR it goes to -6 to the OEM feedline, I want to use that as the return, there is a adapter that fits the OEM feedline in the enginebay to AN fitting. AMS uses this for their replacement feedline. Only need to source that adapter. I am talking about this one:
If anyone know where to get it, cause AMS wont sell it seperate.

I'm running that and the fuel pressure sensor as well, it works. I didn't have my pumps modded for high pressure a few years back and the fpr detected the pressure was fluttering when it got over 70 or so, and turned on a cut.

For reference, Walbro's are MADE IN THE USA. There are other things wrong in your post but I'll just cover that one.

Agreed. Also a PWM controller on a big pump will greatly enhance pump life. Another option is a mechanical that will be very reliable and when the engine stops so does the fuel.

another problem with a big single is the fuel gets really hot from the continuous pumping. and as stated, not a single one will last. check the supra forums for proof. the 044 is proven reliable, you can pump sand with it and it will keep going.

Ive came to a conclusion to run twin 044s with 3/8 steel line from the filter to the fuel rail. I dont see why this setup can push out 800whp+ on a Mustang Dyno.
