Recaro seat rail/sliders

I am in the process of purchasing EVO 9 MR leather Recaro seats. The driver side is a little beat up and the rails are bent to ****. I have looked through the 10 pages related to seat rails with no luck. So I have a few questions.

Will all evo 8/9 rails work for these seats?
Is there any aftermarket company that has a set of rails that will work on these oem seats?

Or if someone that has put in aftermarket seats has any sitting around collecting dust want to sell let me know. I will be posting in the wtb section once I can.

Please be kind, this is my first thread on this site.

all 8/9 stock rails will work with all 8/9 stock seats. since you drive an eclipse, I think if you bought the recaro rails for your car, it would fit the seats

Yeah, sort of thought that the Evo 8/9 rails were the same. I called a dealer today, and they want $125 a rail ($250 a seat) which is just insane. But it is very hard to find a set for sale that is NOT attached to a seat.

I would suggest trying to contact Recaro or a dealer.... most likely they are not specifically spec'd for Evo seats, but it certainly is possible...

Rails are expensive because they have to be made extremely durable/strong... it literally holds the seat to the floor lol

Yes/no.

The rails dont hold the seat to the floor, the bracket hold the seats to the floor. The rails hold the seat to the bracket.

I have called my dealer. They cross referenced the rails, and the EVO 8/9 is the only Mitsubishi line that used these rails. I think I will just buy new ones if I don't see any for sale on here in the next week or two.

just a precaution.... they are NOT easy to get off, I believe they use OE locktite... meaning you'll easily round out that cap head bolt. That was my experience, FYI.

Yup, from what I read the hex head bolts are hard to get out. Some people have have success heating up the bolts first.
