Anyone getting turbo lag?

i have about 850 miles on my EVO, and sometimes when giving it some gas to pick up some speed, it feels like the turbo isnt pulling as hard as other times. Is this a known issue or is it just me? Also, if this is a stock defect the EVO 8 has, is there a way around it? im from PA, and i use 94 octane all the time.

I think sometimes power delivery varies with the EVO..
Some days it spools up nice and snappy, other days it seems a little pokey..

Anyone know why this is??

Variations in weather possibly, or bad tank of gas

I think Creamo3 has it. Atmospheric pressure, temperature and humidity have a noticeable effect on all engines, but you can really notice it with a turbo. There are just days where the Evo feels like a rocket (cool, low humidity with high pressure) and days where it only feels like it was shot out of a cannon (really hot, moist with low pressure). Of course a bad tank of gas would do it too.

Best wishes,
